About Us

Founder Brian Powell is a cancer survivor himself. He tested his own Grass Valley home after a childhood friend was diagnosed with a lung tumor attributed to radon exposure. The result was extremely high radon levels. He quickly realized there is a huge awareness gap and limited resources for radon services in California. This is how Sierra Nevada Radon was born, with a mission to spread awareness and provide professional testing and mitigation solutions.
